So im using an alienware, used on screen keyboard for num lock, then went to the naming, held alt down, typed the code, but no numbers showed up. let go of alt, wouldnt rename it. Help?

yes this hides the icon but the folder details are still there ie date and time so u can still see where it was but at a glance it would fool a novice

Except on windows home 7, even if you follow this your mouse outlines it and has a mousetag for it. So if your hiding something and someone scrolls over an invisible file it’s going to be pretty suspicious.
