Firefox the best browser of all the browsers. Yes it is better than IE, Opera, Netscape (though it is based on Netscape), and whatever else you use. So if you are going to switch and you should, these simple key short cuts can save you some time when browsing
- Spacebar (page down)
- Shift + Spacebar (page up)
- Command + D (bookmark current page)
- Function + F5 (reload current page)
- Command + T (open new tab)
- Command + W (close current tab or window)
- Control + Tab (navigate forward through browser tabs)
- Control + Shift + Tab (navigate backward through browser tabs)
- Command + K (go to search box)
- Command + L (go to address bar)
- Command + Enter (auto-complete URL within address bar)
- Command + = (increase screen text size)
- Command + - (decrease screen text size)
- Command + F (find text)
- Control + N (find next occurrence of text)
- Backspace (moves you back a page, or erases)

I think the shortcut for enlarging the text is CONTROL + “+” and not CONTROL + =
CONTROL + 0 returns the screen text to default size.
Also, you can increase/decrease font size by holding the CONTROL key pressed while you scroll your mouse wheel. This is the method I like best since I’m pretty much all the time with my hand on the mouse while reading web pages.

A simple F5 will do for the refresh - no need for the Function key as well.

don’t forget that “shift+backspace” goes forward a page if you already went back once.
